Caveman Keno

A little while ago, a local ad agency called me up and asked if I'd be interested in helping them make a TV commercial for a casino in Dubuque, Iowa. When I heard what they had in mind, I knew I was the right man for the job.

I love 1960s Hanna-Barbera-style cartoons, and they wanted this project to have a similar feel to it. So I designed this caveman character, whipped up a bunch of drawings, and sent them off to be animated. A few days later, this thing existed:

    I have driven past many a Diamond Jo casino on my way through Iowa. Very clever!
